I drink mate almost every day and this bombilla does the job well. The wider straw pulls smoothly, and the spoon-shaped end filters the leaves nicely so I get fewer bits in each sip. Stainless steel feels sturdy and doesn't change the flavor of my mate. It pairs well with the Classic Mate Mug, though you may need to adjust how you pack the yerba. A solid everyday pick whether you're at home or on the pitch.
